Benefits to Outdoor Yoga
Outdoor Yoga connects you to your roots. Yoga was born outside. The primal environment increases focus, health and vitality. Nature replenishes depleted energy. Natural scenery releases endorphins. Fresh air heightens breath awareness and practicing outside of a controlled environment builds confidence because it requires a different set of skill. Finally, the outdoors boosts the benefits of meditation. In summary, outdoor practice is healthy!

Nancy’s Yoga Home
The seed of sharing yoga in this unique space was planted several years ago. Intention and attention allowed the manifestation of my yoga home today. Set in a residential home, my space is designed to offer you a different approach to yoga cultivation. Outside, a large patio platform was built under the trees. Practice outdoors offers additional benefits to indoor practice. An art studio is available for creative thought and practice. Gardens and birds enhance the landscape and allow closer connection to nature. Basic amenities such as bathrooms, refreshments, props, towels and a swimming pool (ok….not so basic) are available for your enjoyment and relaxation. Indoor yoga will be practiced more commonly in the colder months. Outdoor fire pits and seating is still available for rest or contemplation. Indoor relaxation and fireplaces are also welcome for you before and after class.
“Nature Inspired Yoga and Art”
My intention is to offer a peaceful, natural environment that enhances mindful practice in yoga and the arts. I encourage connection with creative thinking, the natural world and our elements allowing balance and wellbeing.
Nancy’s Yoga Home is a private home setting specializing in outdoor and indoor yoga environments. Classes are small for more individual attention. Creative opportunity, nature exploration and themed based classes encourage you to find your true self and your true “yoga.”
